Responsibilities

Responsible for the independent performance of technical procedures, including emergency and routine patient testing, quality control, and preventive maintenance. Participates in Quality management processes as needed. Qualifies as a General Supervisor designate, per CLIA, in the absence of the Section Supervisor or Manager. This position requires working in the Blood Bank.


Requirements
  • Preferred: A B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science degree that includes 60 semester hours of medical lab technology courses or other sciences as specified by CLIA; OR a B.S. and successful completion of an accredited MT/MLS program; OR a B.S in Chemistry, Biology, or other laboratory based Science including a Laboratory training program or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS
  • Required: An Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Science with a minimum of 2-5 years experience
  • M.T. or MLS (ASCP) preferred

Salary Information
