Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a Medical Lab Technician Lead for a job in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Under the general supervision of the Administrative Laboratory Director, obtains patient specimens, performs laboratory tests on blood, urine, body fluids, feces, and reports test results according to prescribed laboratory policies and procedures. Responsible for the supervision and operation of the laboratory if so requested by the laboratory manager and performs any other task necessary to maintain the proper functioning of the department and the hospital.

Minimum Education:   Must have Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or equivalent physical, chemical, or an associate degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician in Laboratory Science.

Minimum Experience:  Four years' experience in high complexity testing is required supervisory experience is preferred.

Required Licensure/Certification: Medical Technologist / Technician (American Society of Clinical Pathology) or equivalent.
