We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Broker (Client Executive) to join our Financial, Professional and Technology Services team in our Montreal office!

As a Client Executive, you will be part of a dynamic group of likeminded brokers, working collaboratively to service existing large accounts while generating new business opportunities.

Your Day as a Client Executive

  • Proactively maintain and develop relationships with partner brokers, clients, and their respective operations.
  • Generate new and expanded business opportunities through existing broker channels, key insurer relationships, and growth of the client base.
  • Make recommendations to prospects and existing clients to update and enhance their insurance policies and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure that all required tasks related to new business and renewals are completed in collaboration with other team members.
  • Resolve client and/or accounting issues, including coverage questions, collections, discrepancies, billing disputes, and claims.
  • Develop and execute a formal annual business plan aligned with departmental objectives.
  • Conduct annual client management reviews in collaboration with the team.
  • Maintain regular and consistent contact with existing clients to deliver highquality service and address their needs.
  • Respond to client and marketing team communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review new policy wordings and other documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain proper documentation for various accounts and/or correspondence.
  • Participate in industry events and targeted public relations activities (as needed).
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as required.
  • Assist the team with clientsโ€™ risk transfer analyses.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, including at least 3 years in an account management or client relationship role.
  • University degree (preferably in business or finance).
  • Insurance broker licence issued by the Autoritรฉ des marchรฉs financiers (AMF).
  • Bilingual, with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English. The role requires working in English with stakeholders (colleagues and clients) outside Quรฉbec.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Clientfocused, with demonstrated relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Solid analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
