Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team and support our Dermatology Physician Associate within a busy clinic. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, provide compassionate patient care, and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
As a valued member of our clinical team, you'll provide hands-on support to patients and providers throughout their visit. Responsibilities include rooming patients, recording medical information, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with in-office procedures such as biopsies, injections, and wound care.
You'll help with medication preparation, lab specimen collection, patient education, and accurate documentation in the EMR. This role also supports patient flow, ensures infection control, and contributes to a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment.
This position requires comfort assisting with dermatology procedures and post-operative care, working in a sterile environment, and handling surgical instruments. Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, assist with patient positioning, lift up to 30 lbs., and be flexible to work across multiple clinic locations.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday; 4 days per week plus one half-day
Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Experience: Previous dermatology or surgical clinic experience preferred; Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) highly desirable; must demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective multitasking, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to work across multiple clinic sites.
