Medical Imaging Services Supervisor

Medical Imaging Supervisor
Full Time
Day Shift Mโ€‘F 7:00amโ€‘3:30pm
Must be available to work every 4โ€‘5 weeks for coverage
Compensation $84,000โ€‘$115,000

Position Summary

The Medical Imaging Supervisor assists the Imaging Director & Imaging Manager in dayโ€‘toโ€‘day supervision of the Radiology Modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, General Radiology, & Interventional Radiography) โ€” including the Team, Patients, Equipment, & Exams.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.
  • In collaboration with the Medical Imaging Lead Techs, assign work schedules, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • In collaboration with Medical Imaging Lead Techs, monitors and performs daily billing reconciliations.
  • In collaboration with Medical Imaging Lead Techs, inventories departmental supplies and keeps stock to appropriate par levels.
  • In collaboration with Medical Imaging Lead Techs & Imaging Manager, maintains employee files.
  • Onboard new staff members and provide continuing education opportunities.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff, patients, families, and hospital administration.
  • Address patient concerns and improve service delivery.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of Medical Imaging equipment.
  • Direct impact on annual budgeting and cost management in Medical Imaging Modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, General Radiology, and Interventional Radiography)
  • Direct responsibility of personnel performance evaluations for Medical Imaging Modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, General Radiology, & Interventional Radiography).
  • Collaborates effectively with Imaging Director, Imaging Manager, & Radiology Chair.
  • Maintains and updates the Medical Imaging Policies, Workflows, and Protocols in collaboration with Medical Imaging Lead Techs, Imaging Manager, Imaging Director, & Radiology Chair.
