Overview
Due to continued growth, TRC Field Services (FSV) is seeking additional Lead Gas Inspectors to support our Northern California (CA) Teams. With a staff of over 200, FSV delivers comprehensive, cost-effective Construction and Testing - Commissioning Service solutions safely to our Utility Customers while providing the best training programs and mentors in this industry and numerous opportunities for growth with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
Position Duties:
Performs direct oversight of Applicant or Contractor installed facilities limited to plastic distribution systems and smaller underground projects to ensure compliance with job drawings and specifications; and company standards and specifications over the entire Company territory.
Experience and certifications and Operator Qualifications (OQ) dictate the varying level of placement, but we are seeking a level of inspector meeting stated minimum requirements, OQ evaluation and documentation of certifications. Position requires independence, professionalism, communication skills and the ability to work objectively in a construction team environment.
Qualifications
  • Union member IBEW 1245
  • NACE Level II certification
  • API 1169 certification
  • Obtain and maintain PG-E required Operator Qualifications
  • Exercise Stop Work Authority (if unsafe work conditions exist)
  • Resides in Northern California or willing to relocate
  • Distribution and plastic pipe/fusion experience desired
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with ASME B31.8

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
