Job description

A busy, multi-disciplinary medical practice needs a full-time front-office receptionist. The receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Check patients in via the EMR system
  • Collect patient demographic and insurance information and capture images of insurance cards and driver's licenses.
  • Collect Co-Pays
  • Balance end-of-the-day deposits
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as scanning, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Assist with other office duties as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
