Front Office Clerk

The Front Office Clerk at Bibb Medical Associates plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front office within the organization. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and internal staff, providing exceptional customer service and managing communications effectively. The clerk is responsible for handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records. By coordinating daily office activities and supporting various departments, the Front Office Clerk contributes to a productive and organized work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or front office role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and other communications, directing them to the appropriate personnel or departments.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
  • Assist patients with the sliding fee application, if applicable.
