Job description

Our client, an industry leader in heavy equipment installation and manufacturing, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Installer to join their team. As a Heavy Equipment Installer, you will be part of the Installation Department supporting the installation and assembly of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Installer

Location: Lake Wales, FL

Pay Range: $21-24/hour

Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Install and integrate complex equipment systems onto commercial truck chassis, including grapple loaders, knuckle boom cranes, and hydraulic lifting systems.
  • Perform advanced installation of structural components such as subframes, reinforcement members, mounts, and custom brackets.
  • Install, route, and connect hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and reservoirs.
  • Install electrical wiring, sensors, control panels, and safety systems associated with equipment operation.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams, and build documentation to ensure precise installation.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in heavy equipment assembly, truck equipment installation, or similar mechanical environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measurement instruments.
