We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves 100% travel to client facilities nationwide, both by air and company vehicle.

Job Summary:

As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, de-installation, and maintenance of medical imaging systems. You will work independently and as part of a mobile field team to ensure that equipment is properly installed, troubleshot, and maintained to manufacturer specifications.

This position requires 100% travel, and you must live in Connecticut and within 1 hour of a major airport. You will be required to work in various healthcare settings, maintaining a professional demeanor and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Equipment Installation and Maintenance:

  • Install and de-install medical imaging equipment at healthcare facilities across the U.S.
  • Perform system setup, calibration, and testing to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment performance.
  • Complete de-installation and equipment removal when necessary.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry standards for all installations.
  • Ensure proper connectivity and electrical safety during equipment setup.

Technical Support and Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed and accurate installation records, including checklists and technical reports.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, technical support teams, and clients.
  • Provide on-site support during installation and troubleshooting.
  • Document project progress, equipment status, and maintenance issues.
  • Keep workspaces clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Travel and Scheduling:

  • Travel to regional and national project sites (1-3 weeks at a time).
