Job description

Company Description

Street Data Partners works in partnership with Precision Analytics to provide data analytics, reporting, and dashboard solutions for Kโ€“12 school districts.

Precision Analytics helps districts bring together information from student information systems, assessment platforms, attendance, enrollment, intervention, and other data sources into customized dashboards and reporting environments.

Rather than asking districts to replace the systems they already use, our goal is to help them make better use of the data they already have. Solutions are tailored to each districtโ€™s priorities and may include executive dashboards, school-level reporting, student analytics, assessment reporting, automated reports, and ongoing data integration and support.

We work closely with district leaders to understand their reporting and decision-making needs, then build practical solutions that make information easier to access and use.

Role Description

We are seeking an Independent Kโ€“12 Education Sales Representative to help expand Precision Analyticsโ€™ work with school districts.

This is a remote, independent contractor, commission-based opportunity designed for an experienced Kโ€“12 sales professional who already understands the district sales environment and ideally has existing relationships with education decision makers.

The representative will focus primarily on identifying prospective districts, making introductions, developing relationships, and generating qualified sales opportunities.

Precision Analytics will handle the technical side of the sales process, including detailed discovery, product demonstrations, solution design, data integration discussions, implementation, and ongoing customer support.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Identifying school districts and education organizations that could benefit from improved data integration, reporting, and analytics.
  • Building relationships with district-level administrators and decision makers.
  • Conducting initial conversations to understand district reporting and data challenges.
  • Introducing Precision Analytics and scheduling qualified discovery meetings.
  • Helping maintain communication and momentum throughout the district sales and procurement process.
  • Leveraging existing Kโ€“12 relationships to identify potential opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the Precision Analytics team during the sales process.

This is not a high-pressure transactional sales role. Our approach is consultative and relationship-driven, with an emphasis on understanding district needs and determining whether Precision Analytics can provide a meaningful solution.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience selling products or services directly to Kโ€“12 school districts.
  • Existing relationships with district-level administrators or education decision makers are strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kโ€“12 district operations and the education technology sales cycle.
  • Experience selling EdTech, assessment, SIS, curriculum, data, analytics, software, professional services, or related solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities independently.
  • Comfortable discussing high-level data, analytics, reporting, and technology concepts.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, commission-based role.
  • Experience working with superintendents, assistant superintendents, assessment/accountability leaders, curriculum leaders, IT/data leaders, or similar district stakeholders is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for district meetings or education conferences when appropriate.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with commission-based compensation on new business originated by the representative.

Specific commission terms will be discussed with qualified candidates.

  • This opportunity is particularly well suited for experienced Kโ€“12 sales professionals who currently represent complementary education products or services and are interested in adding a data analytics and reporting solution to their portfolio.
