  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organization skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities
  • Must be comfortable working independently and in a collaborative team environment consisting of diverse populations of staff, faculty, resident/fellows  and other administrative personnel
  • Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in work requirements and assigpments in a proactive manner
Responsibilities & Requirements

Medical Education Program Coordinator position duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of intern and resident rotations
  • Coordinate and resolve issues with interns and residents in relation primarily to schedules
  • Ensure the upkeep of files (applications and interviews) and all required logs and paperwork
  • Maintain appropriate documentation to meet AOA requirements
  • Assist with revision of manuals pertaining to internship and residency
  • Oversees graduation events

 

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of business office experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in related areas of equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of productivity software, including database management
