Job description

Remote Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am ET - 5:00pm ET What Medical Documentation Representative contributes to Cardinal Health The Core Medical Documentation Representative role is centered around making sure all required medical documentation is complete and accurate so patient orders can move forward without delay. This includes contacting doctors' offices, following up consistently, and ensuring we've obtained everything needed from insurance providers so equipment can be shipped and delivered on time. Responsibilities Identify, support and demonstrate the Company's culture and values to ensure quality service to both internal and external customers Physician interactions (verbal calls, clinical prescribing questions, diagnosis validation, outbound fax resolution, etc) Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.

Reviews and executes according to departmental SOPs for medical documentation Demonstrate understanding and successfully navigate internal systems: RGH, ICON, GRID, OnBase etc. High attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Achieve productivity measures and maintain standardized quality metrics Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers. Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.
