Your duties include overseeing the nurses and physicians on staff, hiring new employees, and coordinating schedules. You may also handle various administrative tasks, such as budgeting, performance reviews, and legal compliance. Other responsibilities include collaborating closely with managers or other department leaders to improve care delivery and implement new models of treatment and care at the facility.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a medical director, and why are they important?
