Job description

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Medical Device Test Engineer to support verification and validation (V&V) activities for electromechanical medical devices. The ideal candidate will have experience performing hardware testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and working with laboratory test equipment in a regulated environment.

Key Job Functions
  • Develop and execute Verification & Validation (V&V) test protocols and reports.
  • Perform hands-on testing of electromechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
  • Utilize laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters (DMM), power supplies, calipers, force gauges, and pressure gauges.
  • Analyze test results and document findings against product requirements.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and troubleshoot hardware/system failures.
  • Review electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to create effective test methods.
  • Support product development through feasibility, characterization, compliance, and change testing.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, fixtures, and testing inventory.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program teams.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and quality system requirements.
