Territory Manager (Thoracic/Pancreatic), Virginia
Field Based / Full Time / Permanent
At Novocure, every role contributes to extending the lives of people living with cancer. As our new Territory Manager, you'll play a key role in expanding access to Novocure's innovative cancer therapy across the Virginia territory.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished sales professional who thrives on building business, opening new accounts and introducing differentiated technology into complex healthcare environments. You'll develop relationships across leading academic institutions and community practices, identify new opportunities, navigate access challenges and execute territory strategies that drive adoption and growth.
We're looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, resourceful and motivated by creating opportunities rather than simply managing an established book of business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Provide field-based sales and promotional activities directed to oncology health care professionals in oncology settings to all key stakeholders in each practice including medical oncologists and supporting staff
  • Development and implementation of territory account plans utilizing a collaborative team approach, meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Excellence in execution of corporate and regional strategies within assigned geographic area resulting in achievement of business objectives
  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities to build and grow HCP prescribing within approved labeling in the territory

ABOUT YOU
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare).
  • 3-5+ years of successful field sales experience in medical device, complex healthcare technology, oncology, or other complex therapeutic markets.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and building new business within a territory.
  • Proven ability to gain access to complex accounts, develop new customer relationships, and influence multiple clinical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience selling within academic medical centers and/or large community-based healthcare practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and position differentiated clinical technology in a dynamic, evolving market.
  • Highly independent, resourceful and results-oriented, with the ability to develop opportunities from the ground up.
  • In-depth understanding of lung cancer, its treatments, and the oncology market a plus.

These additional qualifications are preferred:
  • Experience selling disruptive or market-creating medical device or healthcare technology.
  • Oncology sales experience and established relationships within the Virginia oncology market.
  • Experience working with major academic and community oncology accounts in Virginia.
  • Previous experience spanning both pharmaceutical/biotech and medical device sales.
  • Understanding of oncology treatment pathways and the ability to quickly develop clinical expertise.

WHAT WE OFFER
This pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $145,00 - $175,000/yr. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
