Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Interventional Cardiologist to join its busy practice. Our group consists of 3 interventional cardiologists, 2 non-invasive cardiologists, and 4 advanced practitioners.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Rotating physicians who offer advanced heart failure, TAVR, vascular surgery, and electrophysiology support.
  • Our physicians cover one hospital.
  • General call is every fifth night for all physicians, and interventional backup is every third night. We rotate cath lab days, weekly hospital coverage, and night and weekend call. Weekly hospital coverage includes weekend rounding. As the group grows, call will become less frequent.
  • Each physician rotates to 3 clinic locations for their practice.
  • Our diagnostic department performs EKGs, Holter and event monitoring, exercise stress tests (including nuclear), cardiac ultrasound (to include stress echo and dobutamine stress echo), vascular ultrasound.
  • We have an arrhythmia/device clinic and cardiac rehab.
