Program Manager

Owen Daniels is currently partnered with a global aerospace technology leader that develops innovative solutions. They are seeking a Program Manager to own contract performance and program management for a defined set of programs, acting as the primary customer contact throughout the program lifecycle.


Job Summary

  • Create the program charter and baseline plan, ensuring customer requirements and cost/pricing are correctly evaluated through risk analysis
  • Own integrated program schedules, financial and quality performance tracking, and corrective action plans
  • Lead the development and execution of program plans across mature and new product development programs
  • Define required expertise, manage staffing and team performance, and support training and development of direct staff
  • Act as primary point of contact for customer relationships, including negotiation of contract changes related to scope
  • Serve as key presenter and facilitator at major program reviews
  • Act as a consultant to management on program management, mentoring project teams and setting program goals


Required and Desirable Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or related field
  • PMP certification or willingness to obtain
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • In-depth knowledge of program management processes, methodology, and architecture
  • Aerospace commercial or military contracting knowledge
