Working in the Neuromodulation Manufacturing Engineering group, our interns will get the opportunity to support daily production of implantable Neuromodulation devices and their accessories. We manufacture medical devices in South Houston! Gain first-hand experience how active implantable medical devices are produced safely and to quality standards from pcba fabrication to a sterilized, packaged device. Be a part of our continuous improvement team analyzing our assembly lines to reduce waste, improve quality and profitability. Areas interns will be exposed to:
  • Daily production support including defect investigations, equipment maintenance, and operator support
  • Continuous improvement opportunities in production
  • Concepts of lean manufacturing
  • Fundamentals of process development and validation in accordance with FDA regulations

Qualifications:
  • Actively pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
  • Previous SolidWorks or other 3D modeling experience
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.

Pay Transparency, Timeline & Location:
  • A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this position is $25/hr.
  • Internship Dates: May 18th - August 7th; internships may be extended if there is opportunity and availability.
  • On-site, Mon-Fri at our site in Clear Lake, TX
