Job description

Mechanical Engineer

Join a growing engineering team delivering innovative HVAC solutions for K-12 and higher education, municipal, multifamily, commercial, and industrial facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated engineer who wants to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients and project teams, and contribute from design through construction.

What You’ll Do
  • Design HVAC systems, including layouts, calculations, equipment selection, and specifications.
  • Support projects from initial design through construction and project completion.
  • Perform LEED analysis and assist with project cost estimating.
  • Review shop drawings and coordinate designs with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
  • Apply knowledge of building systems and construction processes to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders while managing work independently.
What You Bring
  • 5–10 years of HVAC design experience in educational, institutional, multifamily, or commercial facilities.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Revit.
  • Working knowledge of architectural and engineering design and construction processes.
  • Experience with equipment selection, calculations, specifications, and shop drawing review.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent organization, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
  • PE or EIT preferred
