Job Title: Medical Assembler
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 1 Year (Possible Extension)
Location: Redmond, WA 98052
Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday
Overtime: Friday as needed
Description:
Job Summary

Responsible for assembling medical devices across multiple product lines while meeting quality, production, and documentation requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, fine motor skills, and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble medical devices on 2+ product lines while meeting production standards.
  • Follow written work instructions, quality procedures, and production priorities.
  • Complete accurate manufacturing documentation, including Device History Records, Data Sheets, and Lot Control.
  • Adapt to procedure, product, and technology changes and cross-train on different operations.
  • Support training of new or lower-level assemblers when needed.
  • Apply basic Lean Manufacturing principles to improve production metrics.
  • Report material shortages to leads or supervisors.
  • Follow cleanroom, safety, housekeeping, ergonomics, and job-rotation procedures.
  • Participate in shared leadership activities such as Kanban Management, Calibration, and Metrics Board Maintenance.
  • Maintain required attendance and flexibility for overtime or schedule changes.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED preferred with 1-2 years of medical device or ISO-certified assembly experience.
  • Without a high school diploma: 2-3 years of relevant assembly experience required.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow cleanroom procedures.
  • Ability to perform repetitive work according to established procedures and production pace.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong fine motor skills, hand dexterity, and eye coordination for working with small components.
  • Ability to operate manufacturing and measurement equipment after training.
