ABOUT THE ROLE:
Lexitas is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Specialist to support our legal records processing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. While the work may be repetitive at times, the information you handle is vital to legal cases, client satisfaction, and our overall operations. If you're an organized multitasker with a sharp eye for detail, this is your opportunity to play an essential role in the legal support process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Accurately input client order data received via fax, email, or phone into the system.
  • Generate and maintain legal documents such as custodian letters, certifications, affidavits, and notices.
  • Use Crystal Reports to create and manage custom client questions.
  • Ensure proper delivery of notices to all counsel of record via fax or FedEx.
  • Complete tasks within the research queue and document MTQ/Rule 11 information.
  • Support expeditors, billing team, and managers with data integrity and workflow updates.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and all confidentiality protocols related to medical and legal records.
  • Operate fax machines, scanners, and copiers as part of daily workflow.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support departmental and client needs.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Ability to prioritize and adjust to shifting deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Keen attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and efficiency.

  • Familiarity with subpoenas, written depositions, and affidavits is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Legal terminology knowledge preferred but not required.
