Team/Position Summary

The Influencer Marketing Manager helps shape how Nintendo builds authentic relationships with creators, communities, and fans. This role exists to elevate Nintendo’s earned influencer efforts beyond traditional social campaigns—driving creator strategy, experiential activations, and community moments that bring Nintendo’s worlds to life in meaningful ways.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing, this role works closely with the Manager, Influencer Marketing to help build the vision and direction for the Earned Influencer program. Together, the team balances strategic planning with hands‑on execution, ensuring creator partnerships feel authentic, culturally relevant, and thoughtfully aligned with Nintendo’s mission to create joy.

At its core, this role leads Nintendo’s Earned Influencer strategy, with a strong emphasis on experiential and community‑based creator activations and events—designing immersive, story‑driven moments that foster long‑term fandom and deliver smiles both on screen and in real life. This role will also be involved in programming and planning for premium sponsored and paid content as well.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
  • Manage Nintendo of America’s Earned Influencer strategy, setting vision and direction for creator partnerships that build long‑term community, affinity, and cultural relevance.
  • Drive strategic planning and execution of experiential and community‑based creator activations and events, delivering immersive, high‑impact moments that bring Nintendo brands and stories to life.
  • Engages with content creators to bring Nintendo products and initiatives to life while managing and executing tactics.
  • Collaborates with the Communications team in celebrity marketing, identifying appropriate opportunities for the celebrity community to engage with Nintendo products in a way that drives affinity with defined target audiences.
  • Manages external partners and agencies involved in executing short- and long‑term initiatives on the earned and paid influencer program.
  • Drafts and/or edits various materials, including strategic campaign plans, social copy.
  • Manages collection and distribution of relevant game assets.
  • Maintains tight communications with other marketing teams within Nintendo to ensure that new and ongoing projects are well understood and that cross-team opportunities are realized.
  • Works in collaboration with counterpart leads/managers in Social Marketing, PR and celebrity team.
  • As designated, may represent Nintendo as an official corporate spokesperson in an on‑camera or in‑person capacity; successful completion of training required.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of six years related experience in communications, public relations, influencer marketing or social media.
  • Knowledge of best practices within digital marketing and online video.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Experience managing direct reports required.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Experience creating still and video assets preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, a related field, or equivalent preferred.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Pay Range: $117,400—$211,300 USD
