Job description

Communication Representative to join their team. The Communication Representativeโ€™s primary role is to assist & advise DHA in meeting mission & OASD defined responsibilities, aid in the development of DHA Communication Systems policy, procedures, standards, tools/templates, and provide MTF sustainment support as assigned. The Communication Representative shall assist in all phases of the Facility Life Cycle Management (FLCM) activities to include the requirement development and planning, pre-design and design, construction, initial outfitting, transition, acceptance, closeout and sustainment.

The idea candidate should have experience with areas such as:

  • Reviewing communication system design analyses, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Reviewing RFIS, ASIs, shop drawings, product literature, and construction submittals
  • Conducting facility site investigations and assessing existing communication systems
  • Inspecting installed systems and supplier or installer work
  • Supporting acquisition and procurement of communication systems
  • Reviewing closeout and warranty submittals
  • Working with Division 25, Division 27, and Division 28 systems
  • Supporting DoD healthcare or military medical facility projects
