• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients utilizing standardized tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to create individualized care plans that consider each patient's unique cultural background and needs.
• Regularly monitor patient progress by implementing effective strategies and psychotherapeutic interventions that cater to mental health diagnoses, ensuring continuous support and adaptation of care plans.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation and treatment records, adhering strictly to regulatory requirements and department standards to ensure compliance and high-quality care delivery.
• Collaboratively formulate comprehensive treatment plans in partnership with patients and their families, taking into account specific desires, outcomes, and any relevant medical histories.
• Proactively identify and address safety concerns and symptoms, while engaging effectively within a team to achieve collaborative goals in patient treatment scenarios.
• Act as an essential connector by coordinating referrals and maintaining relationships with various treatment providers to streamline care access for patients.
• Provide education and mentoring to interns, students, and new team members, enriching the organizational knowledge base and integrating learners into the care team.
• With guidance from a clinical supervisor, engage in peer-to-peer reviews and chart auditing to contribute to team development and quality assurance.

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals and families navigating the often challenging landscape of a cancer diagnosis. • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Jersey.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
