Hydro-Gear is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Facility Maintenance Manager to lead facility-related projects while supporting ongoing manufacturing facility maintenance and operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends execution, problem-solving, and strategic thinking to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment.

What You'll Do

  • As the Facility Maintenance Manager, you will lead facility maintenance initiatives, manage people and vendors, and execute facility projects to maintain and improve the overall facility and grounds.
  • Lead and oversee personnel, buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure effective sustainment and preventative maintenance
  • Hire, develop, coach, and retain maintenance personnel aligned with current and future business needs
  • Coordinate, monitor and repair to ensure safe, efficient operation of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
  • Plan, manage, and execute facility-related construction and maintenance projects
  • Prepare and manage maintenance projects to minimize operational disruption
  • Negotiate contracts with service providers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Foster relationships and motivate suppliers and contractors to deliver high-quality work at competitive costs
  • Lead initiatives that improve employee safety, environmental conditions, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Drive timely closure of corrective and preventative actions
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on technical and operational issues
  • Align facility projects and activities with organizational goals and expectations
