Job description

We are looking for an INDUSTRIAL PLANT ELECTRICIAN to join our Tampa FL team. As an Industrial Electrician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will troubleshoot complex electrical systems, maintain power distribution, and work directly with PLC and HMI automation systems. If you have 5+ years of heavy industrial experience, a strong commitment to safety (LOTOTO, Arc Flash protocols), and thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and modify heavy plant machinery, switchgear, and process controls.
  • Install new electrical equipment and wire control systems for plant projects.
  • Participate in a rotating 24-hour emergency call-out schedule.

About You
We Require:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC codes, electrical blueprints, and PLC/HMI equipment.
  • Ability to safely handle low, medium, and high voltages.
  • Willingness to work in a heavy industrial setting and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Preferred: Completed 4-year electrical apprenticeship.
