Are you a skilled and passionate freelance American Sign Language Interpreter looking for new opportunities? We want to hear from you!
We are hiring qualified ASL interpreters to provide on-site and video remote interpretation in Seattle, WA.
Assignments may include community events, educational support, and healthcare appointments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate accurate and effective communication between individuals who use English and those who use American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Prepare in advance for interpreting sessions by reviewing materials and understanding context.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to our Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Collaborate with the LinguaLinx team members, clients, and other service providers to ensure effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English and target language(s), both spoken and written.
  • Adherence to HIPAA, strong interpersonal skills, and reliable internet connection for remote assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to various environments and client needs.
  • 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
