Job Summary
We are seeking an ON-SITE Medical Biller to join our team! As a Medical Biller, YOU WILL NEED A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE FUNCTIONING AS A FULL-TIME MEDICAL BILLER. You will need to answer questions from patients related to billing. Will do collections, processing all forms needed for insurance billing purposes, and collecting necessary documentation from patients and staff. Process all necessary information to accurately process the daily billing, provide suggestions on correct coding to charge procedures accordingly. The ideal candidate has worked in Dermatology or similar specialty before; has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and is comfortable addressing billing collections issues by phone. Computer savvy is a must. Experience navigating electronic medical records required. NO OPPORTUNITY FOR REMOTE WORK and NO BILLING AGENCIES OFFERS PLEASE.
Responsibilities 
  • Assist clients with processing insurance claims through both private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare
  • Note and process all necessary forms from the insurance according to contracts and regulations
  • Assist patients in navigating the billing and insurance landscape, including collecting all necessary forms and signatures
  • Work with medical providers to obtain correct charge information and billing details
  • Staying up-to-date with all changes to coding, billing, medical insurance rules and pertinent information provided by different agencies
  • Enter all billing and payment information into the system properly, without errors and timely
  • Follow up with clients and payments, as needed keeping our account receivables under control.
  • Answer phones and emails as needed
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality
  • Attends weekly and monthly meetings
