Lowcountry Therapy Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pediatric Therapy Medical Biller to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with strong experience in South Carolina medical billing, including extensive knowledge of South Carolina Medicaid, TRICARE, and commercial insurance billing, preferably with hands-on experience using ClinicSource.
This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who understands the unique aspects of billing for pediatric outpatient Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy services and is passionate about helping practices run efficiently so clinicians can focus on patient care.
Responsibilities
  • Submit and manage insurance claims for Speech, OT, and PT services
  • Post payments and reconcile accounts
  • Follow up on denied, rejected, or unpaid claims
  • Manage authorizations and track visit limits
  • Work directly with Medicaid, TRICARE, and commercial insurance providers regarding claim status
  • Ensure accurate billing compliance with South Carolina Medicaid requirements
  • Collaborate with therapists and administrative staff to ensure proper documentation and timely claim submission
  • Maintain accurate patient billing records in ClinicSource
  • Stay current on payer guidelines, insurance updates, and HIPAA compliance

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience required
  • Pediatric therapy billing experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of South Carolina Medicaid, TRICARE, and commercial insurance billing requirements

Salary Description
$50,000-$65,000 depending on experience
