  • COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:
    • $19/hr.+ based on experience and with potential for merit increases. Registered MAs earn $1 more/hr.
    • Shift differential: Additional $10/hr. for hours worked after 5:30 PM and weekends.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists medical professional staff members by performing routine patient care, laboratory procedures and clerical procedures to support the delivery of patient care
  • Monitors patient flow by assuring that clients are serviced promptly and effectively
  • Prepares examination rooms ensuring that rooms are clean, orderly and properly stocked with supplies for use during exams

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Successful completion of a Clinical Medical Assistant program required
  • Successful completion of 160-hour MA Externship required

Skills and Knowledge

  • Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • Reproductive Health experience is a plus
  • Phlebotomy skills, or desire to learn, strongly preferred
  • Experienced in utilizing a computer, Microsoft Products and EMR preferred
  • Current and active CPR Card, required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Bilingual language is a plus
