Job description

GameDay Men's Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for its Palm Harbor location. The position is ideal for someone interested in being a part of a pioneering health program for men. (www.gamedaymenshealth.com)

Set in a man-cave environment plush with flat screen TV's, comfortable chairs, luxury flooring, and sports memorabilia. GameDay is revolutionizing the way men get effective treatment. We have hundreds of patients who receive testosterone replacement therapy and other men's services throughout our many locations. Are you passionate about patient Care? if so we'd like to meet you!

Responsibilities:

- Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients

- Injections (testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12, and other vitamins)
- Provide medical administrative support to healthcare professionals
- Assist with patient check-in, including verifying personal information and insurance details
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Take and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Assist with coding and billing procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
