Work Environment

The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed for special events or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently handle administrative tasks including scheduling patient appointments, updating electronic health records (EHR), and maintaining accurate medical charts to ensure optimal patient flow.
  • Warmly greet patients upon arrival, collect their comprehensive medical histories, and prepare them for examinations or treatments, ensuring a comfortable experience.
  • Assist physicians during patient examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries, showcasing knowledge of medical equipment to facilitate a sterile and organized environment.
  • Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring meticulous labeling and documentation in alignment with established protocols.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations, including injections, under the supervision of physicians, adhering strictly to safety protocols and dosage guidelines.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests like urinalysis and EKGs, accurately interpreting results and maintaining detailed records for physician review.
  • Educate patients about medication usage, treatment procedures, and healthcare guidelines, leveraging strong communication skills to enhance their understanding.
  • Perform routine patient care tasks such as measuring vital signs, documenting patient information, and maintaining a neat environment in examination rooms.
