We are seeking a dedicated and professional
Medical Assistant (MA) to join our thriving clinic team. In this role, you will provide critical hands-on assistance to healthcare providers, ensure smooth exam room operations, and deliver exceptional compassionate care to our patients. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday opportunity in a highly supportive, friendly, and positive work environment.
Schedule & Shift
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Hours may vary slightly depending on the exact clinic location).
- Work Modality: On-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Intake: Room patients efficiently, verify information, and accurately record vital signs.
- Clinical Support: Administer injections and provide hands-on assistance to providers during clinical procedures.
- Documentation: Fully document patient care, history, and visit details within the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Care Coordination: Prepare exam rooms before visits and provide clear post-visit instructions to patients.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with scheduling patient follow-up visits and maintaining organized workflows.
Position Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or a firm agreement to obtain BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) designation.
- Prior hands-on experience utilizing Epic EHR software.
