Are you a compassionate, dependable Medical Assistant who enjoys building lasting relationships with patients? Our busy and welcoming Family Practice is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to become an integral part of our healthcare team. In this role, you'll work alongside dedicated providers to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment where your skills and contributions are truly valued.

If you thrive in a fast-paced medical office, have excellent clinical and communication skills, and are passionate about helping patients of all ages receive quality healthcare, we'd love to hear from you.

This Medical Assistant position is Monday through Friday, business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient intake and obtain vital signs
  • Manage and maintain accurate medical records in EMR system
  • Administer injections and vaccines
  • Specimen handling, running standard point of care tests, EKG's
  • Provide patient education on treatment and care
  • Support clinical procedures and assist healthcare providers

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in medical assisting
  • Medical Assistant diploma or state certification
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or willing to obtain
  • Knowledge of EMR systems, Athena a plus
