Our client is looking for an Cardiac Cath Lab/IR Tech
The Cardiac Cath Lab/IR Tech is responsible for direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. They address the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Here are some qualities we're looking for on our Cath Lab Tech team:
  • Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab
  • Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
  • Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure
  • Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies
  • Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:
  • ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), preferred previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab, preferred
  • Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring, preferred
  • BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current, required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required within 30 days of hire
  • Proficient computer skills
