Job Summary
TheAccount Manager will be responsible for generating sales inmulti-family units in their respective assigned region. Thisincludes networking with MDU property managers, assistantmanagers, leasing agents, and other property staff.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:

Sales& Customer Engagement
  • Drivecreative sales strategies in multi-family properties thatwill increase awareness and penetration
  • Hostvarious community events within MDU properties, to getcustomers to sign-up for Ziply Fiber services
  • Makeregular property visits to all MDU's in assigned region,documenting key learnings
  • Conductdoor-to-door outreach to promote and sell fiber internet toresidential customers.
  • Achieveor exceed daily activity goals (door knocks, customercontacts, property visits) and monthly sales targets.
  • Buildstrong relationships and trust with prospective customersthrough professionalism and product expertise.

Training,Collaboration & Operational Support
  • Participatein e-learning, classroom sales training, and associatedcurriculum in tandem with Sales Trainer
  • Marketingteam collaboration; offer strategy & communication,collateral material creation & distribution
  • Performfinancial responsibilities to include operational expensetracking, processing mileage reimbursements, logging eventexpenses, and others
  • Monitorindustry developments (technical, regulatory, and otherwise)and apply critical thinking for strategic and customerimpact analysis

Other Duties
  • Performsother duties as required to support the business andevolving organization.

Required Qualifications:
  • Highschool diploma or GED.
  • Minimumof six (6) months of sales and/or customer serviceexperience - OR - current or prior military service.
  • Mustbe committed to providing exceptional customer service in acalm, professional manner.
  • Mustbe enthusiastic, persuasive, persistent, and be able tohandle rejection in the selling process well.
  • Mustwork in an outside environment for extended periods in anyseason, with potential exposure to inclement weather.
  • Musthave reliable transportation.
  • Musthave and maintain a valid driver's license, auto insurance,and satisfactory driving record.

  • Spendsapproximately 80% of the time in an outside environment forextended periods in any season, with potential exposure toinclement weather.
  • Mustbe comfortable walking up and down streets for up to five(5) hours per day, including uneven terrain, uphill anddownhill areas.
  • Regularlyrequires climbing stairs, navigating driveways, andaccessing homes or buildings with limited accessibility.Minimal time in an office environment.
  • Thisrole involves driving within a specific region or territoryand requires the ability to safely perform all functions ofoperating a motor vehicle.
