The Role
We are seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join our World Trade Center team. The ideal candidate is a driven, detail-oriented attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of complex employment litigation matters from intake through trial.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct client consultations and assess potential claims
• Draft complaints, discovery demands, and dispositive motions
• Assit the Executive Partner in preparing for opposing counsel meetings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Manage discovery and review document productions
• Conduct legal research and draft supporting memoranda
• Assist partners with mediation strategy, trial preparation, and case presentations
• Supervise and mentor paralegals and law clerks
What We're Looking For
• 3-5 years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience (Title VII, NYSHRL, NYCHRL preferred)
• Strong drafting skills, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Experience conducting depositions and participating in mediations
• Familiarity with federal and New York state courts
• Excellent research, analytical, and client communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently while working collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment
• A proactive, driven mindset - someone who takes initiative, follows through, and works hard to move cases toward resolution
• Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to contribute positively to firm culture
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of the New York State Bar
