Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st centuryโ€™s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Andurilโ€™s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cuttingโ€‘edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Sourcer to join Surge, our specialized sourcing engagement team within Anduril's talent acquisition organization. Surge operates as an engineeringโ€‘agnostic resource deployed against the highest priorities across the company, with a primary focus on staffโ€‘level+ and foundational roles. As the most forwardโ€‘thinking group in the TA foundation, Surge brings deep expertise in AI tooling and proactive sourcing strategy. While Surge supports hiring across all engineering disciplines, this role will have a particular focus on Systems engineering pipelines. You will proactively identify, engage, and nurture topโ€‘tier technical talent, partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to fulfill hiring surges through talent mapping, strategic outreach, and fullโ€‘cycle sourcing support.

Systems engineering at Anduril spans the senior engineers who integrate across domains - software, hardware, firmware, autonomy, and payloads - to make complex products work endโ€‘toโ€‘end. They own requirements, interfaces, trade studies, and crossโ€‘stack integration rather than living inside a single discipline. Because the work requires breadth across the full stack, Systems roles skew staffโ€‘level and above and are foundational to how Anduril ships product.

This role is open to 6 month contract.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO
  • Talent Identification: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, market research, and social media platforms to uncover passive and active technical candidates.
  • Candidate Engagement: Initiate and develop meaningful relationships with prospective talent through tailored messaging and personalized communication.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for various technical roles, ensuring a steady flow of highโ€‘quality candidates.
  • Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand technical role requirements and align sourcing strategies with broader recruitment goals.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze sourcing metrics and candidate data to refine and optimize sourcing strategies and workflows.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in technical sourcing or recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring for technical roles.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of modern technology stacks, software development processes, and technical skill sets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficient in using dataโ€‘driven approaches to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and make informed decisions.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing tools.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to waork effectively in a teamโ€‘oriented, fastโ€‘paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Startup, Tech, and Industry Expertise: Proven experience in startups, tech, or related fields such as AAV, UAS, AUV, Weapons, or similar programs.
  • Tooling Experience: Expertise using Greenhouse, Gem, various AI tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Independent & Proactive: Highly selfโ€‘sufficient with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative without requiring constant supervision.
  • Resilient & Creative Problem Solver: Demonstrates flexibility in tackling challenges, quickly troubleshooting issues, and devising innovative solutions on the fly.
  • Exceptional Communication: Communicates directly and succinctly, sharing information promptly to foster collaboration. Practices active listening and engages thoughtfully.
  • Strong Sense of Ownership: Takes full accountability for their responsibilities and stays aligned with the business mission. Actively seeks opportunities to enhance company performance, even beyond their explicit role.
  • Low Ego, High Curiosity: Values continuous learning over being right, embraces honest feedback, and views setbacks as opportunities for growth and improvement.

US Hourly Range: $55 - $75 USD per hour

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package. Additionally, Anduril offers topโ€‘tier benefits for fullโ€‘time employees, including:
