Job Summary

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with deep expertise in firewall administration, networking, and enterprise storage. In this role, you will support complex, production-critical infrastructure environments for media and entertainment clients, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing systems.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned infrastructure generalist with strong experience in Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, network design, and enterprise storage platforms. This role requires daily interaction with clients, so strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain enterprise firewall environments (Fortinet and Palo Alto).

  • Support and troubleshoot network infrastructure environments using Cisco, Arista, and Dell technologies

  • Support and optimize enterprise storage systems.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues across multi-site environments.

  • Engage directly with clients to provide technical guidance and responsive support.

  • Contribute to infrastructure planning, architecture improvements, and long-term optimization strategies.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills
  • Extensive experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall administration.

  • Strong background in network design, administration, and troubleshooting in high-performance environments.

  • Experience supporting Media & Entertainment workflows.

  • Experience with hypervisors including VMware vSphere and Proxmox.

  • Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as PowerScale, Qumulo, NetApp, or similar.

  • Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to operate independently.

Job Type
  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Hybrid / Onsite. Regular travel to client locations throughout the LA area is required.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation based on skill and experience. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 annually. We offer 401(k) employer match up to 4% of annual base salary, comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and accident insurances) and paid time off.
