About the role:

At Veeam, Systems Engineers work closely with sales and help to evangelize our product offerings to our partners, resellers and end users. Grow along with Veeam while gaining valuable experience in the hottest area within IT today. This position require significant travel within the region of responsibility.

What You'll Do:
  • Position Veeam products to both partners and end-users to help to overachieve sales goals
  • Manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales process as a main technical advisor for Veeam solution
  • Provide web-based and on-site demonstrations of Veeam software
  • Work closely with Veeam's value-added resellers, including enablement, joint meetings and building relationships
  • Work closely with development to provide customer feedback
What You'll Bring:
  • Strong experience working in a pre-sales role to enterprise level for an IT Software vendor
  • Deep experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure
  • Experience on Microsoft Hyper-V and Systems Centre
  • Wide range of technical knowledge of data management inclusive tape drives, storage arrays, storage networking, networking protocols
  • Willingness to engage discussion about Cloud technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English, French and Dutch
  • Being comfortable presenting to groups, both remotely and in person
  • Availability to spend 25% - 50% of the time with customers and partners
  • Self-starter approach with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
