Job description

The Role:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for expanding YA's Property services business by identifying and securing new project opportunities. This role focuses on building relationships with insurance adjusters and claims managers, coordinating with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery, and supporting regional growth initiatives.
Preferred locations for this role are Atlanta, GA or Nashville, TN; however, candidates located elsewhere within the Southeast region will also be considered.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Identify and engage new regional adjusters and claims managers to generate project opportunities
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers (RMs), Managing Partners (MPs), and technical leads to map insurance industry networks
  • Work with consultants, engineers, and other team members to ensure effective execution of initial assignments
  • Facilitate communication between business development and operations to support client needs
  • Participate in regional planning with Marketing and cross-functional teams to prioritize target firms and contacts
  • Organize and attend local business development events and adjuster meetings
  • Engage with relevant trade associations and include technical leads in outreach efforts
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and pipeline in CRM
  • Identify opportunities to expand Building Consulting (BC) and Engineering Services (ES) within existing client relationships
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a similar field or equivalent years of experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management
  • Familiarity with property services, insurance claims, or consulting sectors
  • Proven ability to deliver high-impact, client-focused service through exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
