Job description

Social Media & Content Manager

Remote (Tri-State Area) — up to 25% travel
We're building Pop.Store, the fastest-growing AI-native commerce platform for creators — turning content into sales across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Think: the tools that help creators actually make money off their content.
We're not looking for someone who just manages a content calendar. We're looking for someone who lives on these platforms — who knows why a sound is popping off before it hits the FYP, who can spot a format about to break out, and who treats content like a craft, not a checkbox. You'll own our social presence end to end: strategy, creation, posting, community — the whole thing. If you're creative, driven, and want to be hands-on with every part of the process, this is your role.
Where you need to be
Based in the Tri-State Area (NY, NJ, PA, CT, RI, MD, or VA) — close enough for in-person time as needed with leadership and to attend creator events.
About us
CommentSold is the #1-ranked live and video commerce platform in North America (per G2) — the infrastructure behind thousands of merchants running live selling, POS, warehouse ops, marketing automation, and branded shopping apps.
We're in a high-growth chapter right now: launching and scaling Pop.Store, our creator commerce platform. Pop.Store is the agentic AI creator commerce company helping creators and professionals turn their audience into an owned business. Its AI operating system, ECHO-ME, powers intelligent engagement, content workflows, lead qualification, and commerce experiences that turn attention into lasting customer relationships.
What you'll actually be doing

  • Design, produce, and execute content across our core platforms — Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — plus supporting content on Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
  • Stay plugged into trends and platform culture to shape content strategy — knowing what's working, why it's working, and how to scale it across channels
  • Show up at creator events and brand activations in person to capture content and rep CommentSold/Pop.Store on the ground
  • Understand how each platform's algorithm actually behaves, keep a pulse on fashion, social, and pop culture, and back your trend bets with real performance data
  • Meet in person as needed with the Growth/Marketing leadership team in the Tri-State area for planning, strategy, and content reviews
  • Run the day-to-day on CommentSold and Pop.Store's social accounts — engaging followers, replying to comments and DMs, and keeping an eye on reviews and tagged content
  • Team up with Digital Marketing to make sure everything you post supports the bigger marketing picture
  • Review your social media post performance and use the insights to double down on creatives that work
  • Dig into performance data to spot patterns over time, and use what you find to shape your creative strategy
You're right for this role if you
  • Have 3+ years in social media marketing with real range — content, trends, and platform analytics all included
  • Have hands-on experience ideating, shooting, and editing content across formats (video, Reels, static posts, ads) — and let performance data tell you what to make more of
  • Know your way around Canva, the Adobe Suite, and CapCut like they're second nature
  • Understand the metrics that actually matter — engagement rate, conversion rate, ROAS — and know which ones to chase for which goals
  • Have a real feel for the social landscape, platform best practices, and how people actually behave online
  • Are results-driven and know how to build relationships and collaborate across teams
