Hilton East Assisted Living currently has Full-time and part-time openings for a Medication Aide at our assisted living facility located in Hilton, NY.

Our services are designed to help residents maintain-or increase-their independence. We pride ourselves on ensuring that our residents are offered many choices, allowing each resident to customize their lifestyle.

SHIFT DETAILS:

  • Full-Time & part-time
  • Shifts: 7am-3:30 and 3pm-11:00pm
  • will need to work at least one weekend shift


MEDICATION AIDE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works under the supervision of the Compliance Officer and or the Nurse on Duty, in accordance with the New York State Department of Health regulations.
  • Provides clients with assistance with ADL’s and housekeeping tasks as dictated on the PCA activity sheet.
  • Able to follow the Nursing Care Plan to complete the daily activities of the client, as well as completion of the aide activity sheet.
  • Utilize mandated checklists
  • Complete all documentation in a neat and timely manner.
  • Able to follow state regulations
  • Ability to ask questions when unsure, without being prompted.
  • Observe the client and report changes appropriately to the RN.
  • Attend required in-service training and HHA meetings.
  • Exhibits necessary interpersonal skills to work well with clients and families.
  • Maintain a clean med room, medication cart and all storage containers.
