Role Purpose

Design and integrate mechatronic systems that enable precision, throughput, and reliability in advanced manufacturing environments. This role supports the transition of complex technologies into scalable production solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and integrate mechanical, electrical, and controls components for automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Support system development, debugging, and optimization during build, commissioning, and ramp-up.
  • Collaborate with process, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment meets production needs.
  • Apply engineering judgment to improve system robustness, reliability, and scalability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement as systems move from development into sustained manufacturing.

Required Experience & Attributes

  • Strong hands-on experience integrating mechanical systems with controls and automation.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical domains and with diverse engineering teams.
  • Experience supporting the transition of new equipment or processes into manufacturing.
  • Practical problem-solver with a bias toward execution.
  • Must be available for significant travel, primarily domestic, to multiple locations to support business needs. International travel could be required as well. 

Preferred Capabilities

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 8+ years of applied experience in mechatronics, automation, or related engineering roles. Will consider less years of experience with advanced degree.

The range for this position is $95,227.00 - $130,938.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
