Mechanical Inspector – Hoovair Carts

Location: San Antonio, TX area
Assignment Duration: 4 weeks
Position Type: Temporary / Project-Based

Seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector for a 4-week assignment in the San Antonio, TX area. This role will focus on inspecting, identifying, labeling, and categorizing Hoovair cart parts and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong parts identification skills, and a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and hands-on mechanical inspections of Hoovair carts, parts, and components.
  • Inspect, label, and categorize parts based on type, condition, and intended use.
  • Identify and document mechanical components, assemblies, and hardware.
  • Evaluate parts for wear, damage, defects, and serviceability.
  • Separate and organize parts according to inspection findings and condition.
  • Support quality control, parts tracking, and inventory organization activities.
  • Maintain accurate inspection documentation, labels, and parts records.
  • Communicate inspection results and questionable components to appropriate project personnel.
  • Follow established safety procedures, inspection standards, and worksite requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Inspector, Quality Inspector, Mechanic, or in a similar hands-on mechanical role.
