Position Summary

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building systems for a diverse range of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. In this role, you will manage all phases of project delivery, from planning and design to construction administration. Additionally, you will serve as the primary client contact and provide technical mentorship to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems for complex infrastructure and facilities projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Oversee all project phases, including planning, design, specifications, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, architectural, and civil disciplines.
  • Conduct code analysis and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
  • PE licensure required 
  • 8?20 years of mechanical design experience within commercial, industrial, and institutional building facilities, with strong expertise in HVAC system design
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Sustainable design experience with LEED accreditation a plus.
  • Fire protection is a plus
