Design and develop orthopedic surgery tools that extracts medical implants pertaining to total hip revision and other joint surgeries applying principles of mechanical design, Machine Design, Kinematics and Dynamics, Applied FEA (Finite Element Analysis); Create technical drawings and schematics of tool designs using SolidWorks and Mechanics of Solids; Test and evaluate designs and finished products to ensure safety and durability using Mechanical Manufacturing Processes; Attend and represent the company at medical device tradeshows and orthopedic conferences.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus skills and knowledge of SolidWorks, Mechanical Manufacturing Processes, Machine Design, Kinematics and Dynamics, Applied FEA, Mechanics of Solids.
