Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to support the development of next-generation server solutions.
  • Serve as an initial Research & Development (RD) point of contact for local clients, assisting with design requests and delivering daily feedback or technical solutions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and handling production quality issues directly within customer plants to ensure prompt resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Execute design-based requests, including the rigorous testing, analysis, and debugging of mechanical prototypes.
  • Coordinate closely with the manufacturing factory to support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews, engineering drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management as required.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication and collaborate effectively with engineering team members based in Taiwan to ensure global project alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • A strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and Machine Design.
  • Direct experience utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, with a strong preference for CREO
  • Practical experience or strong academic coursework working with sheet metal.
  • Proficiency in Research and Development (R&D) processes, including concept exploration and hands-on prototyping.
  • A basic understanding of Project Management workflows, including structural planning and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to accurately understand customer needs and proactively communicate when project hardships arise.
  • A general knowledge of current industry standards and technical trends is a big plus.
