Job description

Job title: Mechanical Engineer

Job location: Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US. Travel and relocation required. International travel is not required. Travel is limited to domestic travel to various LTTS and client facilities based on project needs.

Job duration: Permanent position, Full time, Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week.

Number of positions: 5.

Salary and Benefits: $120,349.00/year + Paid Leave, Health Insurance, Group life insurance, Disability, 401(K).

Job description: Establish and evaluate structural design concepts. Provide mechanical support for design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of parts, assemblies, components, sub-assemblies, tooling, and final products. Support development team to provide innovative design and manufacturing solutions, mechanical cost reduction ideas, structural concept designing through CAD modeling, and manufacturing drawings.

Education and experience required: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field, plus two years of engineering experience. The two years of engineering experience must include one year of experience using Pro-E Wildfire 5.0, Ansys, SolidWorks, SAP, GD&T, DFMEA. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required. International travel is not required. Travel is limited to domestic travel to various LTTS and client facilities based on project needs.
